Gilmore Girls - Quote of the Week

[phone rings]

Lorelai: [answers phone] They burnt my fries, forgot to give me an extra side of barbecue sauce, the jeep is making that crunchy sound again, and I have to spend my evening making elf ears for Aaron Thompson's Lord of the Rings party.

Rory: Grandma broke into my dorm and redid the entire common room in $25,000 worth of furniture and stereo equipment.

Lorelai: You win.

U2 was....

amazing!! It's all i can say at this moment.... B has a much better description of the concert. I will write more later.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY BEESON!!!!

much love brotha!!!

BIG Weekend!

I mean huge! Here we go....

Saturday afternoon
Keystone will be serving with the home owner's association of the Village of Woodland Springs at their second annual Fall Festival. We had an amazing experience last year and pray God has the same favor over this event. Pray that we connect with many families and that God will use each of us in a special way! And i may get to facepaint... exciting (and a bit scary...)!

Saturday night Brian and I will be at the U2 concert. Wait, let me say that again, Brian and I will be at the U2 concert!!!! Click
here to see where our tickets are. Pretty sure I have an amazing brother! I will be sure to fill you in on all the details after the show. How jealous are you right now?

Sunday we start a new series....
Storms. I am pumped about this! Brandon and the guys are tackling head-on some of the storms we face in life - guilt, worry, temptation - and where God is in the midst of them. Click here to see the promo clip and more detail.

Like I said, BIG weekend! Much love folks!

Wow....

it's really all i can say!! This weekend was Keystone's 1 year celebration and man was it incredible! It was such a sweet time of giving thanks for all that God has done in the past year and looking forward to all He will continue to do. We had record attendance of 425 and record giving as well. God is good!

Brandon cast a great vision for our future and continued heartbeat of Keystone. Check it out on this week's
podcast.

For more detail about the service check
B's blog.

Woohoo!

Gilmore Girls - Quote of the Week

(Lorelai meeting Rory at Yale for coffee before the first day of classes)

Rory: I have three other roommates. One of them probably moved it.
Lorelai: Three roommates?
Rory: Yup.
Lorelai: When'd the other one come?
Rory: Last night. Her name's Janet.
Lorelai: What's she like?
Rory: She jogs.
Lorelai: Enough said.

Fall Favorites

Because I live in Dallas and it's still 90 degrees in the middle of October, I have to mentally escape to fall.

Here are some of my favorite things about fall....

college football
grilled cheese and tomato soup
hooded sweatshirts
the trees changing
Thanksgiving

what are some of your favorite things?

decisions

we make decisions every day - vegetables or french fries? black shoes or brown shoes? should i stay up and watch Conan even though I have an 8 am meeting? etc etc

Then we make the not-so-everyday decisions - should i take this job offer? should i datethis person? should i move my family to a new city? should i (insert your question) ?

Regardless of how great or small our decisions are, we still have to make them. You may be someone who welcomes decisions or you may be someone who shies away from them or you could be like me and it just depends on what I am deciding. :)

Let me encourage you with something I have been reminded of the last several days as I am making some decisions in my own life...

The Lord says, "I will guide you along the best pathway for your life. I will advise you and watch over you." Psalm 32:8

Blessings,
Ang

Gilmore Girls - Quote of the Week

[Lorelai and Sookie inspect the inn before they are featured in a travel magazine]

Lorelai: Okay, floor looks good, table looks good. Hey, what happened to our books?
Sookie: What do you mean?
Lorelai: All our beautiful, leather-bound books. Jonathon Swift, Edith Wharton, Charles Dickens. A lot of them are gone.
Sookie: The guests must have swiped 'em.
Lorelai: They swiped Jonathon Swift and left me with Clifford, the Big Red Dog and five copies of He's Just Not That Into You.
Sookie: We've been airplane booked.

1st Year is paper?

Keystone is a year old!!!! Well, technically October 23rd, but that doesn't matter... time flies when you are having fun!

For those of you who do not know, about a year ago a group of about 70 people began a journey with the Lord in Keller, TX. We started a church called
Keystone Church, and man has it been a great ride! God has been so faithful to our church and has taken us places I could not have dreamed of! In just one year we have grown to about 300ish and seen God move in the lives of so many people.

If you are looking for a dynamic place to worship that seeks truth in real life issues please
check us out!

So I am not sure if this is an anniversary or a birthday for Keystone, but I looked online and found that there are certain gifts for certain anniversaries. Now I know that is specific to marriage, but it's interesting. The 1st year traditional gift is paper and the modern gift is a clock .... something to look forward to.

Pretty sure.....

I have the best brother in the world! Check out his blog (the sunday post) and see where he and I will be on October 29, 2005..... that's right - U2 baby! Woohoo!! Brian, me, Bono, Larry, Adam, the Edge, and 20,000 of our closest friends. I am so excited I don't really know what to do with myself!!!

like i said... great brother!

Gilmore Girls - Quote of the Week

Lorelai: Rory, my heart, today is Saturday, the day of rest!
Rory: Sunday's the day of rest.
Lorelai: No, Saturday's the day of pre-rest, see? Then by the time you get to Sunday, you're rested enough...to enjoy your rest.
Rory: That made absolutely no sense.
Lorelai: That's because it's 6:00 in the morning!
